What’s Not Covered Under the Tupperware® WarrantyUpdated 22 days ago
There are some types of damage that are not included in the warranty. This applies to all Tupperware® products.
General exclusions (all products)
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or changes to the product
- Damage from dropping (especially glass or ceramic items)
- Not following care or usage instructions
- Food stains or discoloration
- Small scratches or normal wear over time
- Cuts from knives, sharp objects, or teeth
- Damage from heating foods high in sugar or fat in the microwave
- Melting from contact with very hot surfaces (like stoves or heating elements)
- Warping from incorrect dishwasher use
Product-specific exclusions
DAILY UNIVERSAL COOKWARE AND CHEF SERIES II HARD-ANODIZED ALUMINUM COOKWARE EXCLUSIONS:
- Small marks, color changes, or surface imperfections
- Broken glass covers
- Damage from overheating, cooking sprays, or improper cleaning
- Dishwasher damage (when not recommended)
- Rust, stains, mineral deposits, or discoloration
- Scratches or damage to coatings (including non-stick)
- Any damage that does not affect how the product works
The following actions will invalidate your Daily Universal Cookware and/or Chef Series II Hard-Anodized Aluminum Cookware warranty:
- Use high heat for long periods
- Use aerosol cooking spray
- Wash non-stick cookware in the dishwasher
- Use metal utensils
- Use abrasive cleaners or steel wool
ULTRA PRO OVENWARE EXCLUSIONS:
- Breakage from dropping or impact
- Damage caused by high heat
- Scratches, cuts, or dents from utensils
MICROWAVE PRESSURE COOKER EXCLUSIONS:
- Silicone parts are not covered and are provided as-is (no warranty)
UNIVERSAL KNIVES EXCLUSIONS:
- Heat damage or rust
- Dull blades
- Broken or cracked blades
- Bent or warped blade edges
- Broken tips
MICROPRO GRILL® EXCLUSIONS:
- Minor imperfections or color variations
- Surface marks from shipping
- Damage from overheating or improper cleaning
- Any damage that does not affect how the product works
The following actions will invalidate your MicroPro® Grill warranty:
- Use high heat for long periods
- Use aerosol cooking spray
- Wash in the dishwasher
- Use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners
TUPPERWARE VOILA™ GLASS EXCLUSIONS:
- Using the product incorrectly in microwave or oven
- Breakage from dropping or impact
- Leaks or spills due to improper use
- Stains, odors, or residue from improper cleaning
- Damage from extreme temperature changes
- Use on stovetop, induction, or direct flame
- Warping or distortion from incorrect use
SILICONE BAG EXCLUSIONS:
- Burn marks from very high heat (such as grills)
- Dark stains from certain foods (like fat or chocolate)
- Stickiness (this is normal and does not affect performance)
